Excerpt from The Book: "Goldilocks and the Three Bears."

Once upon a time, there was a family of bears, Papa Bear, Mama Bear, And Baby Bear.They lived in a cozy little house in the woods. One day they decided to go for a walk in the big forest. Before they left the house, mama bear made a delicious porridge.Outside of the forest, lived a little girl named Goldilocks. Goldilocks had never wandered far into the forest. But one day, as she was gathering bright leaves, she strayed farther than she knew and got lost.As she walked in the forest, she found the bear's little house. She knocked on the door. But, no one answered. Goldilocks pushed the door wide open and walked in.On the table were three yellow bowls of different sizes. One big bowl for Papa Bear, one medium bowl for Mamma Bear, and one small bowl for the tiny bear. Goldilocks was so hungry. "That porridge smells good," she thought to herself, "maybe I can taste just a little bit".She tried Papa Bear's porridge and found it too hot. Mama Bear's porridge was too cold. But Baby Bear's porridge was just right. Goldilocks was so pleased with the porridge that she had another bowl.Afterward, she went to the bedroom and saw three beds. She tried Papa Bear's bed and found it too hard. Then she tried Mama Bear's bed and found it too soft. But when she sat on Little Bear's bed, she found it to be just right. She fell fast asleep.When the bears returned home, they found that someone had been in their house. Their porridge had been eaten, and their chairs had been sat in. They searched the house and soon found Goldilocks sleeping in Little Bear's bed.Goldilocks woke up and saw the bears. She was frightened and ran away from the house, promising never to walk far away from home again. The bears forgave her. But, from then on, they made sure to lock their door when they went for walks.
