Excerpt from The Book: "The Night time Fairy"

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Mia who was afraid of the dark Every night, she would ask her parents to leave the light on in her room. One night, Mia was lying in bed, trying to sleep.Suddenly, she heard a noise. It sounded like someone was singing. Mia opened her eyes and saw a beautiful fairy standing in her doorway.The fairy had long, flowing hair and sparkling wings. She was wearing a gown made of stars. The fairy smiled at Mia and said, "Don't be afraid I'm here to help you sleep."The fairy reached out and touched her forehead. Mia felt a warm feeling spread through her body. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.The next morning, Mia woke up feeling happy and refreshed. She had no more fear of the dark. She knew that the fairy would always be there to protect her. Mia went downstairs and told her parents about the fairy.Her parents were so happy that she was no longer afraid. They hugged her and told her that they loved her very much. Mia smiled and said, "I love you too, Mommy and Daddy."And from that day on, Mia always slept soundly through the night.
